Since Kim Jŏng-Il passed away earlier，It makes me much more interested in this mysterious land - North Korea.
In order to get into the core of this country, I have bought this book from the store - Ici, C'est Le Paradis. It is written by Mr. Kang - a North Korea defector who escape from his own country with his parents at his teen age.
He tells the readers his early childhood in North Korea and how he and his family escaped from this so called Paradise in a direct way.


At his 13, he crossed over the Tumen River with his parents and arrived China. However, their journey of escape haven't ended yet. They spent 4 years escaping from countries to countries. Finally, their journey ended with the last destination - South Korea.


North Korea is the most totalitarian regime. Under its Dear Leader's Juche ideology, It will only create more and more tragedy for his citizens.
